Teaching English in Second Life

Second Life is an online virtual world which is quickly becoming very popular and has millions of users throughout the world. Second Life has also created an intriguing new space for virtual classrooms that act very much like 'real-life' classrooms. Students attend presentations, teachers help students communicate, etc. This introduction to teaching possibilities in Second Life explores how ESL might be taught in Second Life and provides resources for teachers interested in getting involved.
