is american english is the international language?
if yes, why should i must learn british english too? that will be waste my time for entire life? i learn english since i was school, this world is really confused me,sir?
if there is british english as international language too, why don’t they teach me when i was school?i will blame them for this if they make british english as international language. i use my parents money to learn english, and i really love this world to become peacefull, so i learn english.

Nb: sorry if my english is bad, i’m from indonesia, and i learn english as i can.

Hey, Ken,
Your website has evolved into a great teacher/training resource for ESL teachers. I especially enjoyed the Thanksgiving Holiday reading comprehension and these are good topics for motivating one to learn.
Quick question – could I submit one of my websites for the teacher training top ESL sites for your website?
Have a great year!

I believe that standard English will be understood in both the US and Britain. The differences in usage and vocabulary, and especially grammar are slight so that anyone speaking American English can be understood by someone speaking British English and vice versa. I advise students who want to make a choice between the two forms to choose one and try to stick to that choice, but not to worry too much about the differences between the two because it makes very little difference in terms of communicative capabilities.
