English for the Workplace - Level Test

By March 28, 2011

Follow me on:

Take this test to discover your English level. This test was especially designed for English for Business (or the workplace) and focuses on standard business English phrases, vocabulary, writing skills, telephone English, etc. It tests your knowledge of English as it is used, rather than focusing on English grammar - although there are a few grammar questions.

It is an excellent subject and worth exploring further.

I believe the level of English assumed in the questions and follow up topics is too high. Hence not everyone will be able to appreciate its value.

Thanks so much for your excellent and comprehensive, FREE teaching/learning English material. I am using it to teach an Afrikaans-speaking lady, here in South Africa, to speak English. Her husband has joined the diplomatic corps.
When we retire to Ecuador, I hope to be able to teach the locals there as well.
Viva Mr. Beare!!!

Hi, the lessons you’re religiously sending me have proven beneficial to my adult students in Korea, most of whom are successful in their respective career. I am very grateful that I can teach these to them. More power!
