Here's a book that's been missing for years! Master the TOEIC: Strategies by Chris Quinn is a TOEIC test taking book that doesn't promote endless practice test taking. Rather, the book focuses on learning what to look for, traps to expect, how to read and listen for each type of exercise. You'll need other materials, but if you are serious about doing well on the TOEIC, I'd highly recommend this book for self-study purposes or to use in class.
