Speaking about food is probably one of the most common activities for any English learner. To start off, learn food vocabulary related to different types of food, ways of preparing food, shopping and more. If you work in the food service industry, you'll also want to learn food service vocabulary. Practice using food vocabulary with restaurant role-plays and writing out recipes in English. Finally, here is a ESL food lesson for teachers that ties all of the related vocabulary together.

Hi Kenneth,
I love your site and its many resources. That having been said, as an ESL/ESOL teacher it would be many times more useful if I could get a page (or more) of useful dialogues instead of only one (or a few) lines at a time.

Dear Sir,
The task of learning English as a second language has its challenges, particularly in an environment where you have little or no real life opportunity to use what you learn, mostly from books and net. This kind of learning only enables you to talk about general or abstract things like politics. But when it comes to talking about concrete things or real life situations, e.g. talking about preparing food or describing a room, one fumbles for words. You are meeting this need in a very effective way.
Thanks a lot.
With regards,
Yours sincerely
Vinod
