Telling Others What You've Heard

Use reported speech when telling others information you've heard from others. For example:

"Angela is going to visit us next week"
->
Peter told me that Angela was going to visit them the following week.

Notice how the conjugation is put one step into the past, the pronouns are changed, as well as the time expression. These are all changes used in the reported speech.
