Debating in Class

Holding debates in class is a great way to practice a wide range of language functions including agreeing and disagreeing, negotiating, and collaboration. Unfortunately, it's sometimes hard to understand the issues around certain topics. These classroom debates provide language cues, as well as statement cues to help students focus on debating the issues.

Men and Women - Equal at Last?
First World Obligation
Multinationals - Help of Hinderance?
Violence in the Media Needs to be Regulated
Grammar - Is it Necessary?
