The internet is a wonderful place to learn and practice English. I think it's the best tool for learning English available. This poll asks how you use the internet to improve your English:

I like to use idiomeanings.com for my idioms!
…at sites like this one, and at my blog “English Grammar” http://engrammar.com/ I do my all remarks there, and it’s much better than do it on a piece of paper. My favorite book “English Grammar in use” for intermediate students.
I think you might have considered including in your poll a ’sometimes’, ‘often’ never’ question. Anyway interesting as more and more students start using the infinite variety of ESL material available there.
This site is a great tool for gramar and info, and i use “voa special english” for listening.
I use www.takeawaylanguages.com. It has a fantastic conversation practice tool for Mandarin speakers trying to speak English.
I like very much internet. but no thing replace good teacher in person.
I find this site very useful for ESL teachers, it gives a lot of useful tips and exercices. But I would like to be able to print quizzes to train my learners. Anyhow I do recommend this site.

I use a lot of stuff, just go along the Dmoz category : “ESL”

and you’ll find 700 sites (from the worst to the best).
In the “real life” (yes, still exists!) I apply to meetings organized by some free social networks like:

The last one is laureate of the European language label in 2007. And its bi-weekly language meetings in Paris are very worthwile! You can find it in other cities, too.
www.takeawaylanguages.com.cn has just been launched. It is a free site for Mandarin speakers to learn English. (NB: www.takeawaylanguages.com is for English speakers to learn Chinese, and is currently not free).
