Should English learning sites help in many languages?

Thursday April 24, 2008
This site has visitors from all over the world which is one of the main reasons all the materials on this site are English only. However, I think it would be interesting to know how you feel about English only on English learning sites.

I agree only in English, as an ESL teacher if I don’t understand something I’ll have to get more information and read more and it is another way to learn more.

Thanks

(2) Eliseu Pfaffenseller says:

In my humble opinion, I think that for beginners it is very important that almost all the contents are translated into student’s language.
On the other hand, for non-beginners it is only necessary the translation of some key words and/or expressions.

I think it would be interesting to have a translation with just a click on a box or else in case the English explanation/rule is not understood at all, that is mainly for learners to be sure they don’t misunderstand what they learn

If you are studing english, the translation can no help the development, no increasing the understanding. The correct is live the language 24 hours/day.
