Gerund or Infinitive Quiz

Many verbs can be followed by another verb in English. In these cases, the following verb will take the gerund - the 'ing' form - or the infinitive. For example:

I hope to see you soon.
He enjoys playing the piano in his free time

'Hope' takes the infinitive and 'enjoy' takes the gerund form. Test your knowledge of some of the most common of these combinations with the quiz below.
