Definition: economize; not do in a complete and thorough manner

Explanation: Used when speaking about economizing. Also used when talking about something that has not been completed by following all the necessary steps.

Examples: Don't try to cut corners by spending less on materials. - We tried to cut some corners and just caused ourselves more problems.
