Definition: from the beginning; always

Also Known As: Used when expressing the idea that you intended to do something from the very beginning. Often used as an excuse when explaining why something hasn't been done before that particular moment.

Examples: I wanted to buy that car all along. - He had intended to replace the broken window all along.
