This worksheet is perfect for children (K-5) ESL classes as well as beginner classes. The object of these worksheets is to help students begin recognizing the differences between nouns, adjectives and verbs.

The first sheet focuses on nouns, the second on adjectives and the third on verbs.

Nouns are words that are used for people, places and things.

Look at these words. Circle each word that is a noun (a person, place or thing).
