My most important tip to improve writing is:
I love writing. I always say this, but what writing did i do for the longest time? Nothing! I realized that you can't be good at anything if you won't even try doing it - may it be bowling, swimming, drawing and in this case writing. I think I like writing and not all people are like me.In fact, it is even hard for them to start, but if you won't, you will never achieve anything. Practice makes perfect. this is so true. I just recently started writing again and found out that i could learn more. I am an English teacher you know.. ^^v
These are the exercises and techniques I used.
I have a journal of my own, and I write about anything under the sun - whatever comes across this head of mine. If a journal is too complex for you, a diary is most helpful. Write about the activities that had happened to you an a daily basis. You will be amazed on how detailed you can be when you get the hang of it. If you want to be more interactive, letters are good ways of communicating, and it is a form of writing too. You can find people who are willing to be pen pals with you. You can meet new people and practice writing as well.
