"He must have been on vacation", "She can't really think he likes her.", "They might be in trouble." - all of these sentences illustrate conclusions we make based on what we know. Modal verbs of deduction - as well as giving advice - is the subject of this new lesson plan for teenagers called Teenage Problems. Adult classes might want to use A Difficult Situation - another lesson plan focusing on modal verbs of deduction, but with a more adult problem.
